Changes on tap for Fredericksburg radio morning show

An original founder of a syndicated morning show that airs on a Fredericksburg radio will make his return.

Steve Boyd will rejoin the cast of hosts at “Brooke and Jubal in the Morning” on Live 99.3 WVBX-FM after a four-month hiatus. Boyd is credited with launching the show, and for its rise to national syndication.

The move comes as the radio show has been rebranded “Brook & Jeffrey in the Morning” after Jubral Fresh’s exit from the program. The show will continue to air on weekday mornings from 6 to 10 a.m. and will feature four returning radio hosts.

Brooke Fox, a Marconi Award-winning radio host TV personality will continue hosting the show. Fox is well known for hosting “Brooke and Jubal in the Morning.” She was recognized by the World Wide Radio Summit in 2017 and was named “One to Watch” by the Radio Hall of Fame in 2019, the station told Potomac Local News in a press release.

Jeffrey Dubow, also known as “Young Jeffrey” will also continue with the show. Dubow is a nationally syndicated Radio Personality and Executive Producer, described as the “heart and soul” of the radio show. The station did not reply when we asked it in what markets the

He is best known for performing his parody songs (Song of the Week) live on the show every Friday morning.

Jose Bolanos will also continue with the show, having worked alongside Brooke and Jeffery for eight years. Bolanos is a national touring stand-up comedian who has featured on several TV networks, including FOX, USA Network, and NBC.

The show’s features such as “Second Date Update,” “Phone Taps,” “Song of the Week,” and “Lazer Stories” will continue to air.

The “Brooke and Jubal in the Morning” is broadcast from Seattle and is heard on 40 stations across the U.S.
