Carolyn Ann Zavecz-Apperson

Carolyn Zavecz-Apperson, Age 52 passed peacefully in her sleep on March 29, 2020 after a long struggle with breast cancer at her parent’s home. Carolyn was born at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma in 1967, graduated from Heidelberg American High School in Germany, Class of 1985.  She attended the University of Maryland in Munich, Germany.  She is survived by her parents Leslie and Barbara (Dreisbach) Zavecz of Montclair, VA and her sister Janet of Fredericksburg, VA. Survivors include her husband, John Patrick Apperson, Jr., daughter Alexa and son, Zachary. Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Mountcastle Truch Funeral Home 4143 Dale Blvd Dale City Va 22193.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Heartland Hospice, 3900 Jermantown Road, Ste 460, Fairfax, VA 22030
