The public is invited to attend two upcoming meetings to learn more about a study of the Interstate 95 Express Lanes Fredericksburg Extension project.
The project would extend I-95 Express Lanes approximately 10 miles south of Route 610 (Garrisonville Road) in Stafford County to the vicinity of Route 17. The facility is proposed to connect to the I-95 Southbound Rappahannock River Crossing project.
Additional access and operational improvements along the I-95 Express Lanes facility in Prince William County are also being reviewed.

Both meetings will be held in an open house format, with a presentation beginning at 7 p.m. followed by time for audience questions. VDOT representatives will be present to discuss the study and answer questions before and after the presentation.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has cancelled public information meetings scheduled for Monday, March 13, and Tuesday, March 14, on a study of the Interstate 95 Express Lanes Fredericksburg Extension project.
More information on new meeting dates will be provided as soon as possible. VDOT has cancelled the meetings due to an anticipated winter storm on Monday and Tuesday.

Compared to gas, electric lawn equipment can reduce emissions, noise pollution, health risks and maintenance costs and time. The program aims to remove about a hundred gas-powered polluting tools from yards in the greater Baltimore-Washington region.
The exchanges will take place the weekends of May 17-19, 2024, and May 31-June 2, 2024, at A Few Cool Hardware Stores network of employee-owned Ace Hardware stores in the DC and Baltimore metro areas.
