Chick-fil-A Giving Free Dinner to Military Members

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — In the military now, or have honorably served your country in the past? Like Chick-fil-A? Then you’re going to like Wednesday evening.

Chick-fil-A in Woodbridge, and locations throughout the region, will giveaway a free dinner to active-duty, reserve, and retired military personnel, and their immediate family members. It’s a way for the restaurant that specializes in chicken sandwiches to kick off Memorial Day early, and to give back to those who serve.

As part of the Military Appreciation Night from 4 to 7 p.m., military members will have their choice of a original chicken sandwich meal, a spicy chicken sandwich meal, and a four-count chicken nuggets meal.

“I think its good because of all of the military we have in the area, it’s time we showed them our appreciation,” said Woodbridge Chick-fil-A Operator Luis Hevia. “Unfortunately because of the amount of military and former military we have in our area, it’s not feasible to do this every single day… but if we can at least take one day out of the year and show them how much we appreciate them…they deserve it.”

There are several Chick-fil-A restaurants in our area to include Hevia’s location on Prince William Parkway near I-95, on Garrisonville Road in North Stafford, on Liberia Avenue and Sudley Manor Drive in Manassas, on Va. 28 in Bristow, and in the Virginia Gateway shopping center in Gainesville.
