Charlie Lynn Wells, 99, of Manassas, passed away on Friday, January 24th, 2014 at his residence. Born in Clifton, VA, he was the son of the late John H. and Addie Croson Wells.
Mr. Wells had been an employee of Peebles Department Store for many years until his retirement.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Wells and John Wells, Jr. and three sisters, Elsie May, Ruth Detwiller and May Cook.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Elizabeth W. Wells and a son, Jimmie L. Wells.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 31st, 2014 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. William McMahon officiating.
Interment will be in Fairfax City Cemetery, Fairfax, VA.
