Man Shot in Tobacco Store Robbery

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A man was shot in the head during a robbery at a tobacco store in Woodbridge.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Armed Robbery – On November 14th at 2:32PM, police responded to US 1 Tobacco located at 13434 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that two armed, masked men entered the business, approached the employees, and demanded money.

During the encounter, one of the employees, a 37 year old man of Springfield, was shot in the head. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and cigarettes before fleeing the store, unknown if on foot or in a vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

The suspects were only described as males, unknown race or age – no further description
