Burglar Nabs Cash Register, Cigarettes

NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — Authorities in Stafford County seek information on who burglarized the Best Food Mart on Va. 610.

It happened during the early morning hours of Monday, Oct. 14, when a man broke a side window of the convenience store and gas station, went inside, and then damaged a cash register and stole another. The intruder made off with cash and several packs of cigarettes, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’5 – 5’8 between the ages of 18 – 23 with curly or wavy light colored hair wearing a baseball cap, a light colored pull-over style hooded sweatshirt, jeans and contractor gloves. A white commuter-like van was seen leaving the area at the time of burglary and is the possible suspect’s vehicle.
