Crime Watch: $600 in Fuel Goes Missing

Dale City

Residential Burglary – On September 14th at 5:59PM, police responded to the 13000 block of Kenmar Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:50AM and 5:15PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. A gaming console and other electronics, valued around $1,500, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On September 13th at 2:43PM, police responded to the 13500 block of Quate Ln in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM and 12:30PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. No items of value were reported missing.

Dumfries 

Drug possession — On August 23, 2012, at approximately 2:00pm Officer Brian Fields made a traffic stop at Coach House Plaza at Jefferson Davis Hwy. A search of the 2009 Mercedes resulted in the arrest of Stacy N. Caldwell of the 300 Block of High Street, Stafford, Virginia, 22554, a W/F 20 years of age for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. Seized was approximately 2.5lbs of marijuana. She has been released on bond with General District Court date of 10-18-2012.

Montclair

Residential Burglary – On September 16th at 8:11PM, police responded to the 4600 block of Fisherman Cove in Montclair (22025) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00PM on September 14th and 7:00PM on September 16th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. No items were reported missing, however, an interior locked door was forced open.

Stafford

Auto theft – A Stafford sheriff’s deputy was called to a home on Park Ridge Court Friday morning after a man reported his 2001 Chrysler Town and Country van stolen.

The victim told the deputy he parked the car outside his home the night prior and woke up to find it missing.

Breaking and entering – A home on Harrell Road was broken into, holes bored into the ceiling, and $500 worth of copper pipe and wiring stolen from the home. About 80 feet of copper wiring was missing from the home.

Authorities said vandals caused an estimated $3,500 worth of damage to the home in addition to the stolen copper.

Gas theft — A truck driver told a Stafford sheriff’s deputy he parked his rig on Simpson Road in south Stafford on Thursday night and returned the next morning to find it’s gas tank empty.

Authorities said $600 worth of fuel and $150 worth of oil was missing from the truck. It appears someone siphoned it form the auto.

Veney

Malicious Wounding [Domestic Related] – On September 14th at 8:14AM, police responded to the 14300 block of Bellona Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a domestic.

The victim, a 22 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, a known acquaintance, which escalated physically. During the encounter, the victim was knocked to the ground. The accused got on top of the victim, pulled out a knife and cut the victim to his hand.

The investigation further revealed that the accused and another victim, a 44 year old woman of Woodbridge, were arguing earlier in the morning. During that encounter, the accused punched the victim in her face causing her to fall.

This assault prompted the 22-year-old victim to confront the accused. Both victims sustained non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.

Malicious Wounding [Domestic Related] – On September 14th at 3:13PM, police responded to the area of Minnieville Rd and Elm Farm Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a domestic.

The victim, a 26 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that on September 13th, she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were driving in the area above when a verbal altercation ensued.

At one point, the accused stopped the vehicle and struck the victim in the face. Following an investigation, a warrant was obtained against the accused who was located and arrested on September 15th.

Residential Burglary – On September 14th at 5:02PM, police responded to the 3200 block of Bethel Church Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00AM and 4:15PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. A gaming console with related games and equipment and other items, valued around $1,200, were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 14th at 10:25AM, police responded to the 1600 block of Horner Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that sometime between 1:00PM on September 13th and 9:00AM on September 14th, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through a rear door which was damaged. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 9th at 5:44PM, police responded to the 13700 block of Tide St in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that sometime between 8:00Am on September 2nd and 3:00PM on September 9th, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence by prying open the front door. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing.
