Victim punches gunman in face

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va.–One man tried to fight back against another who was holding him at gunpoint.

A 30-year-old man was sitting in his car in the parking lot of a 7 Eleven, at 3623 Jeff Davis Highway near Boswell’s Corner at 2:30 a.m. Friday, waiting for a friend when a man walked up and pointed a gun at his head.

The gunman ordered the victim out of his car as and two other males who were with him looked on, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

As the victim got of his car, he punched the gunman in the face. But the gunman and two others began hitting and kicking the victim , hitting the victim at least once in the head with the gun.

The victim was knocked to the ground where he would eventually lose consciousness, he told authorities.

The three attackers fled the scene and the victim regained consciousness.

Badly beaten, he was able to drive himself to a friend’s house and was later taken to a local hospital for treatment for injuries to his face and head, said Kennedy.

Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the men who were involved in the crime, which took place near a series of offices, a diner and a trailer park.

All three men were described black, between 16 and 20-years-old, between five and 10 feet tall.

The first was wearing no shirt, had on a black skull cap and short braids in his hair.

The second had a shaved head and was holding a black semiautomatic handgun.

The third wore a sleeveless shirt, had a stocky build, and wore a gold chain with a large gold cross.
