Hospital’s new president

Sentra Potomac Hospital announced it has a new leader.

Megan Perry, who has worked as a health care executive for the past 10 years with Sentra, was promoted to President of Northern Virginia operations as well as operations at Woodbridge’s Sentra Potomac Hospital.

She will be responsible for marketing efforts for the hospital.

She replaces William H. Flannagan, Jr., after he retired after 30 years working at Potomac Hospital.

Sentra merged with Potomac Hospital in December, adding the facility to more than 100 centers it owns in Virginia and North Carolina.

BRAC social

Belvoir Federal Credit Union will host a BRAC mixer to include an update on latest information on the federal relocation of more than 20,000 employees who are expected to come to the region by 2011.

It is open to the public and will be held at from 5 – 7p.m. at Staples, at 7708 Richmond Highway in Mt. Vernon.

The event has been touted as a business networking event.
