LOCKS-4-EVER, LLC has been inspired by our FLOTUS, Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move Initiative, to host an event that will give us the opportunity to MOVE!!

This event was created for the person who wishes they had that exercise activity that they can’t live without. The thing that they can get EXCITED about doing! Most times, it’s just a matter of exploring the options to see what they like. Well, here’s an opportunity for them to sample SEVERAL different classes in one day, in one location for one low price!!

According to Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Minority Health:
• African American women have the highest rates of being overweight or obese compared to other groups in the U.S. About four out of five African American women are overweight or obese.
• In 2014, African Americans were 1.5 times as likely to be obese as Non- Hispanic Whites.
• In 2014, African American women were twice as likely to be obese than Non-Hispanic White women.
• In 2011-2014, African American girls were 50% more likely to be overweight than Non-Hispanic White girls.
Our goal is to do something toward changing these statistics!
