Updated: Homicide victim arranged to meet his killer

Updated

Police identified the shooting victim as 19-year-old Ishamael Mansaray, of Woodbridge.

Mansaray is a 2015 graduate of Gar-Field Senior High School in Woodbridge, said school spokesman Phil Kavits.

Police said the victim agreed to meet his killer in the area of Godwin Middle School in Dale City Wednesday night. Mansaray was shot during the meeting.

Afterward, he was taken to nearby shopping center where officers found him. Mansraray was taken from the shopping center to a local hospital where he died.

Police said this is not a random shooting and that detectives have suspects in custody with charges pending.

This is the 7th homicide in Prince William County this year.
