Mother’s Day is not complete without balloons

The Manassas Park Community Center wants to give one lucky mom a makeover to remember this year.

Several businesses, like “Nani’s Etc.,” donated services to make this year’s Manassas Park Mother’s Day Makeover a success. Nani’s Etc. will donate balloons for the event.

We asked Nani’s Etc. wanted to participate in this event.

MPCC: What makes your business unique?

NE: We provide a fusion of American and Latin flavor cakes.

MPCC: Why do you think customers choose you and your business?

NE: Customers choose our business because we take pride in working with our customers to create a customized cake or party package that meets their needs.

MPCC: What is your favorite Mother’s Day memory?

NE: My extended family used to have a Mother’s Day celebration at our Aunt’s house. It was great to gather all the moms together and honor them by being around family and friends, while all the children played with their cousins and extended family members.

MPCC: What drew you to donating to the Mother’s Day Makeover Contest? I think it’s a great idea to celebrate and showcase all the hard work and greatness of being a mother.

NE: Why do you think being involved in the community is important for business owners? It’s good for business owner to be involved in the community because it provides a sense of family and togetherness, to get to know the people you serve on a personal level and not just as a customer.

MPCC: What are other causes and non-profits you support?

NE: Currently I volunteer in the Head Start Policy council and also volunteer as an ESOL teacher at Catholic Charities.
