Taulbee arrested in N.C., charged in Manassas bank heist

Police arrested a man in connection to a robbery at a TD Bank .

Ben R. Taulbee, Jr., 36, was apprehended in Warsaw, N.C., about 50 miles outside Jacksonville, N.C.

Taulbee is charged with grand larceny in the robbery of a TD Bank on the corner of Digges and Sudley roads in Manassas on Dec. 28.

Taulbee is awaiting extradition back to Virginia, according to Manassas police spokeswoman Adrienne Helms.

Police said Taulbee walked into the bank at 12:50 p.m. and demanded cash. The teller complied, and the man left the bank on foot in the direction of a nearby housing development.
