Police arrested Lamar Lewis, 35, of Woodbridge, in connection to the November 1 murder of Gilbert Kindard.
Kinard was found dead on the steps of a town home that didn’t belong to him, on Brazil Circle in Dale City.
Lewis was located by U.S. Marshals in Georgia. A second suspect remains at large.

Murder Investigation *ARREST – On November 17th, after an extensive search, LamarLEWIS was located and arrested at an apartment located in the 3800 block of Mulkey Cir in Marietta Georgia by members of the Atlanta U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force.
This suspect was one of two men involved in the murder of Gilbert KINARD which occurred in the 15200 block of Brazil Cir in Woodbridge on November 1st. The accused remains in custody in Georgia pending extradition back to Virginia.
The other suspect, identified as Bryon KING, is still actively being sought by law enforcement.
