Prince William Police Investigate Several Home Burglaries

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. – Prince William police reported multiple residential burglaries that occurred over the weekend. 

Here’s the latest from Prince William police:

Residential Burglary – On August 16th at 5:45PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12800 block of Hunterbrook Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:00 on July 7th and 3:35PM on August 16th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into a shed on the property through an unsecured door. A motorcycle, valued around $7,000, was reported stolen.

Residential Burglary – On August 16th at 1:56PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4900 block of Nautilus Pl in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM on August 9th and 1:45PM on August 16th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear window which was broken out. Jewelry and other property, total value around $30,000, were reported missing. Entry was also made into the attached garage through a side door which was forced open. A vehicle, valued around $2,000, was also reported stolen.

Residential Burglary – On August 15th at 1:38AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of Walnut St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00PM on August 14th and 1:38AM on August 15th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window. A gaming console and multiple pairs of shoes, total value around $1,500, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On August 14th at 9:16PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3600 block of Quantico Tr to investigate a burglary. A resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM and 5:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured patio door. Three gaming consoles, total value around $2,000, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On August 14th at 2:45PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4500 block of Kingsley Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary to a vacant home. Neighbors reported to police that broken windows and doors were discovered at the property. Damage to interior walls, windows and doors was estimated around $2,000. No property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On August 14th at 9:20AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4200 block of Talon Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:20PM on August 12th and 9:15AM on August 14th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry was made into an attached garage through an unsecured door. Miscellaneous tools, total value around $600, were reported missing.
