LAKE RIDGE, Va. – On August 11, a homeowner told police that three men, two of whom revealed handguns, burglarized a home in Lake Ridge, Va. According to the report, the men entered the home through a basement door and left the scene before police could arrive.

Residential Burglary | Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony – On August 11th at 12:43AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11400 block of Bacon Race Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that three unknown men entered the residence through a rear basement door. Two of the men displayed handguns and demanded property from the six occupants of the home. The men fled the home as police were arriving in the area. No injuries were reported and no property was taken from the home. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects. Detectives have determined that this incident is not random. The investigation continues.

Black male, between 18 & 25 years of age, with a heavy build and beard

Last seen wearing a track suit

Black male, between 18 & 25 years of age, 5’3”

Last seen wearing a black t-shirt and ski mask


Black male, between 18 & 25 years of age, with a thin build and a large cross tattoo on his left forearm

Last seen a black tank top and red bandana

    I appreciate the crime reporting, but, locations are important. This is not Lake Ridge. It is miles from Lake Ridge. I would suggest that it be identified primarily as the Bacon Race Road area, as most people would know what that means. Thanks again.
