MANASSAS, Va. – A total of seven people were forced from their home by fire over the weekend.

Fire and rescue crews were called to a house fire on Taney Road in Manassas on Sunday night. Seven people live at the house but were not able to return following the fire, said Manassas spokeswoman Patty Prince.

The fire started inside the walls of the home and also damaged the roof. That damage, coupled with water damage, has made the house unlivable, added Prince.

No one was injured during the blaze.

Taney Road is just off Wellington Road inside Manassas’ Georgetown South neighborhood.
