Updated: Va. Unemployment Commission worker found

UPDATED June 17 — Antonio Merrick was found safe, Prince William police said. The agency did not say where Merrick was found or provide any details about what led to his disappearance.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police are searching for a missing man who disappeared from his Woodbridge home.

Antonio Merrick, 41, went missing from his home in the 2400 block of Battery Hill Circle about 12:35 a.m. Family members reported him missing, and a police report states he left the house.

Merrick works at the Virginia Unemployment Commission office in Woodbridge. He’s been a regular speaker at various community events and has made an appearance on the interview program Nights at the Roundtable with Connie Moser.

Before working with the unemployment commission, Merrick was employed with the American Legion. He is black, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 204 pounds, with brown eyes and a shaved head. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call Prince William police.

    I learned they found him and arrested him for having a disability. Very strange story but you will be able to learn more about it on his website in the next few weeks. It still doesn’t pay to be black in America, but when you belong to the wrong political party, you are less than trash. antoniomerrick dot com
