She was born on June 19, 1926 in Baltimore, MD to Andrew and Christina Groszer and was one of nine children. She had six sisters and two brothers. Thelma loved to do needlepoint, made exquisite Christening gowns and afghans. She worked for the Department of Defense Intelligence Division from 1970 to 1990 and retired after 20 years of service. During her retirement she spent her time snuggled up with a good book, enjoying her beautiful gardens and home and loved spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and children. She was a great mother, grandmother and loving wife to her husband George, the love of her life.

Mom, you will be greatly missed and be forever in our hearts.
