Crime Watch: Police Investigating Sex Assault from 1980s

Prince William police reported the following arrests:

050714 youseffiAggravated Sexual Battery – On November 11th [2013], detectives from the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at GMS Institute Gymnastics located at 7226 New Market Ct in Manassas (20109) between 1987 and 1988. The investigation revealed that the female victim, who was between 6 & 8 years old at the time, was sexually assaulted on more than one occasion by her instructor, identified as the accused. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested on May 5th.

Parvis YOUSEFFI, 71, of 4401 Tullamore Estates Dr in Manassas
Charged with aggravated sexual battery

050714 howardStrangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On May 5th at 12:01AM, officers responded to investigate a domestic assault which was reported to have occurred in the area of Railroad Ave and Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191). The victim, a 35 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were driving in the area above when a verbal altercation ensued. The argument escalated physically when the accused assaulted, bit, and strangled the victim. The victim was taken to an area hospital where police were notified. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against the accused who was arrested without further incident later that day.

Charged with strangulation and domestic assault & battery

Assault & Battery – On April 4th, officers from the School Resource Unit began an investigation into an assault which was reported to have occurred at Forest Park High School located at 15721 Forest Park Dr in Woodbridge (22193) between November of 2013 and January of 2014. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 17 year old male student, was assaulted on more than one occasion by the accused while on school property. At the time of the incidents, the accused was the victim’s teacher. Following the investigation, the accused was charged on May 5th. This investigation was conducted jointly with Child Protective Services and Prince William County Schools.

Charged with 3 counts of assault & battery

050714 smithNarcotics Investigation – On April 2nd, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation involving the selling of suspected cocaine with the execution of a search warrant at 3317 Beaumont Rd in Woodbridge (22193). As a result of the search, suspected heroin, cocaine, marijuana, packaging materials, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency were recovered. The following arrest was also made without incident. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.

Michael Francis SMITH, 47, of 3317 Beaumont Rd in Woodbridge
Charged with 3 counts of possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic and 1 count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Court date: May 9, 2014 | Bond: $5,000 secured [at the time of arrest]

050714 noakesNarcotics Investigation – On March 20th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation involving the selling of suspects PCP with the execution of search warrant at 8027 Community Dr in Manassas (20109). As a result of the search, suspect PCP, marijuana, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were recovered. The following arrest was also made without incident. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.

Diasian Larrenta NOAKES, 32, of 8027 Community Dr in Manassas
Charged with distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic, possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic, and possession of marijuana
Court date: May 9, 2014 | Bond: $3,000 secured [at the time of arrest]

050714 coleNarcotics Investigation – On March 18th, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a narcotics investigation involving the distribution of marijuana with the execution of a search warrant at 9001 Tyler Ct in Manassas (20110). As a result of the search, marijuana, evidence of distribution, and additional paraphernalia items were recovered. The following arrest was also made without incident. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.
Arrested on March 18th:
Aaron Alexander COLE, 32, of 9001 Tyler Ct in Manassas
Charged with distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic and possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic
Court date: May 16, 2014 | Bond: $3,000 secured [at the time of arrest]
