Commemorative Coin to be Sold for Stafford’s 350-Year Celebration

To continue celebrating its 350-year anniversary and rich history, the 350th Blue Ribbon Committee has released a commemorative coin, which will be sold at the Olde Virginia in North Stafford.

Local artist Jason Breidenbach was the designer of the coin, and winner of the coin design contest for the Stafford 350 site, which was announced this past summer.

The coins are $10.00 and proceeds from the sales support the year-long anniversary celebration. Olde Virginia Gourmet specializes in food, wine, and other gifts from around Virginia with a focus on Stafford County and the surrounding localities. The store is located at 261 Garrisonville Road, Suite 109 and is open Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. You may reach Olde Virginia Gourmet at (540) 720-3901.

Coins may also be purchased in the Citizens Assistance Office of the George L. Gordon, Jr., Government Center, 1300 Courthouse Road, Stafford, VA 22554.
