A U.S. congressman wants to talk to more of his constituents in Woodbridge.

Rep. Rob Wittman (R- Prince William, Stafford) will hold office hours at the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Government Building in Woodbridge on the second Monday of each month.

Here’s more in a notice from the congressman’s office:

Virginia First District Representative Rob Wittman (VA-1) announced today that his staff will host regular monthly mobile office hours in Woodbridge, on the second Monday of each month, beginning on February 10, 2014. Open office hours will be held in the A.J. Ferlazzo Building in Woodbridge from 9 a.m. to noon.

“One of my most important priorities as a representative in the House is to serve the residents of the First Congressional District of Virginia,” Wittman said. “I encourage folks in and around the Woodbridge area to visit with my staff in person, whether they are sharing their thoughts on an issue or if they need help with a federal agency, we are glad to meet them, and provide help if they request it.”

Local residents living in the First District are invited to attend. Services are available to help individual constituents deal with administrative federal agencies, and also to help provide guidance in activities between the federal government and local governments, businesses, communities, and nonprofit organizations.
