Navy Federal’s Woodbridge Branch Opens, Dale City Branch to Remain Open
A Navy Federal Credit Union is now open in Woodbridge.
The new center opened this month inside the Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center which is anchored by Wegmans.
Navy Federal Credit Union donated $1,000 to the Virginia Wounded Warriors Program. The program aids both servicemen and women in the Armed Forces and National Guard who return home injured, and those who suffer from stress-related injuries acquired in the battlefield.
A nearby Navy Federal branch in Ashdale Plaza on Dale Boulevard in Dale City will remain open. It has served Navy Federal customers for 17 years, according to a spokeswoman.
The branch on Dale Boulevard is referred to the “Dale City” branch while then center at Stonebridge will be referred to as Navy Federal’s “Woodbridge” branch.
A spokeswoman had the following statement about the close proximity of both locations:
Regarding rationale for the location, our first priority is always member convenience. If there’s a market where we believe we can add convenience for our members by putting in a new branch, that’s always our first consideration.
