Stafford County Closures for New Years

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Several closures are planned for Stafford County Government Building for New Years.

Governor Robert McDonnell has approved additional time off for County employees next week, which means most Stafford County offices and facilities will close at noon on Tuesday, December 31 and be closed all day on Wednesday, January 1, 2014.

Fire and Rescue, the Sheriff’s Office and the Magistrate’s Office will be open regular hours and can be reached at the following phone numbers:

The General District Court, the Circuit Court, and the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court will be closed all day on Tuesday, December 31, and Wednesday, January 1, 2014.

The regional landfill on Eskimo Hill Road and residential drop-off area on Belman Road will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2014.

Woodlands Pool will close at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31 and will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2014.

The Stafford Gymnastics and Recreation Center will close at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31 and be closed Wednesday, January 1, 2014.
