Roof Replacement Prompts Temporary Closure of Potomac Library

WOODBRIDGE, Va. —It’s time to fix the roof at the Potomac Library in Woodbridge, so that means the building will be closed until Dec. 20.

More in an unedited press release:

The Potomac Community Library will be closed until Friday, December 20th for roof replacements.

The building will be opening on Friday, December 20th from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

While Potomac remains closed, all items placed on hold that would have been held at Potomac continue to be held at Chinn Park Regional Library.

Potomac patrons whose holds are at Chinn Park should plan on picking up those holds no later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19th, at Chinn Park. After that time, the books will be unavailable until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 20th, when they will be at Potomac for pickup.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our patrons. We look forward to serving you on Friday, December 20th.
