No Foul Play in Death of Driver Found Behind Wheel

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – It appears no foul play was involved in the death of a man found inside a car that ran off the Blackburn Road in Woodbridge.

Here’s the latest in an unedited police report:

Death Investigation – On December 12th, following an autopsy, investigators have reclassified this incident as a death investigation. The investigation revealed that the victim was involved in a crash in which his vehicle left the roadway however an autopsy performed this morning revealed no signs of trauma from the crash or foul play. Detectives have confirmed the identity of the victim as the man reported missing from Seat Pleasant, MD on Monday. The investigation continues as investigators await toxicology results from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
