Manassas Water Customers will Continue Experiencing Issues Through Evening
The water main was repaired about 10:45 p.m. Saturday.
MANASSAS, Va. — Utility crews in Manassas continue to wrangle with a water main break.
While attempting to repair a water main that broke Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Liberia Avenue and Stonewall Road, a valve broke and more repairs will be required.
The water problems have affected only a handful of customers, said city spokeswoman Patty Prince. Those who live in the area of the water main break will have limited service tonight until repairs are made, she added.
The water main break that caused the problems occurred about noon.
