2 Injured in Head-On Crash in Manassas, Helicopters Called

MANASSAS, Va. — Multiple helicopters were called to carry victims of a head-on collision to a hospital.

The victims were seriously injured in a collision that occurred about 4 p.m. in the area of Liberia and Signal Hill roads. Two helicopters were called to take the injured to a hospital. Three cars were involved in the collision, according to reports.

Police on the scene closed a portion of Liberia Avenue as part of the rescue effort. A total of three cars were involved in the crash, initial reports state.
