LAKE RIDGE, Va. — A driver who police said had too little tread on his vehicle’s tires lost control of his car and struck and killed a woman who was walking her dog.

Crash – Fatality *ARREST – On October 16th, Crash Investigators arrested the driver involved in the fatal crash which was reported in the area of Old Bridge Rd and Clipper Dr on October 12th. The investigation revealed that the driver was operating his vehicle with insufficient tire tread which caused the vehicle to lose control on wet pavement leading to the crash. As a result of the investigation, the below charges were obtained.
