NORTH STAFFORD, Va. – Stafford County welcomed its first Five Below store this weekend.
The chain store known for selling t-shirts, makeup, small tech gadgets, movies, toys, and a host of other items all for $5 or less opened its doors in Stafford Marketplace on Friday.
By Monday hordes of shoppers were visiting to the store to find their own special fun items, which included a wide selection of candy and personalized duct tape. A line of shoppers waited patiently in a line for a cashier to ring up their purchases.
The store advertised hot dogs for five cents each as a special promotion for their opening weekend.
The new Five Below store in North Stafford joins other locations in Potomac Mills mall in Woodbridge and Central Park in Fredericksburg.
A Party City store and a Crave Frozen Yogurt have also recently opened in Stafford Marketplace.
