Fall Sports are right around the corner at the Manassas Boys & Girls Club. This October, the Manassas Club offer co-ed basketball, co-ed soccer, and girls volleyball.

The basketball league is one of the clubs biggest programs, averaging about 200 children per season. The children play in one of five different age divisions on teams that are picked with the use of a skills evaluation clinic that is held on the first practice of the season.

Volleyball is a fast-growing program that has seen its participation nearly double over the last year. Girls between the ages of 10 and 17 play in one of two age divisions while they learn the fundamentals of the game, or sharpen their skills for their high school seasons.

The BGC Soccer Academy is a young program that is really starting to build some momentum as well. The soccer program is for children between the ages of six and 12. They practice once a week with dedicated volunteers that do a great job in teaching the basics of soccer and ensure that the kids have a great time learning the game.
