Extra Deputies Looking for Drunken Drivers
STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind all motor vehicle operators to not drink and drive.
As part of the Sheriff’s Office Survive The Drive campaign extra deputies will be out on the road from Aug. 15 – Sept. 3 participating in Checkpoint Strike Force, focusing on strict impaired driving enforcement.
Stafford deputies will concentrate on speed and occupant protection.
So far this year, there has been 187 DUI arrests in Stafford County. That is the same number of DUI arrests reported in the county last year, according to the latest Stafford County monthly statistical report.
