Stick, Car Used as Weapons in Fight

Bell

TRIANGLE, Va. — A man and woman from Fredericksburg got into a fight at Locust Shade Park near Triangle. Another man got hit in the head with a stick while trying to break it up.

The argument started just after 5 p.m. Thursday between a 37-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman. Police said both knew each other and, when the argument escalated, a friend of the woman – a 34-year-old man from Stafford — stepped in to help but was hit with a stick.

Afterward, both men got into a car and tried to leave the park, but the woman then got into her car and struck the vehicle with the two men inside. The vehicles collided several times leaving both damaged, police stated. Wooden guard rails inside the park were also broken.

Police said the woman fled the scene on foot before officers arrived, but she was later found at her home. Minor injuries were reported, and the incident was domestic in nature, police report.

Crisdel Valeriano Bell, 34, of 9 Ebony Court in Fredericksburg, is charged with two counts of malicious wounding, hit & run and destruction of property, police state. Her court date was unavailable and she was held without bond.
