OCCOQUAN, Va. – It’s only a matter of hours until Occoquan’s Spring Craft Show begins.
The first of two this year, the spring show will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. It will feature country and contemporary crafters, and crafters will line the tiny town’s Mill Street in its business district.
Parking in the town is limited, but shuttle buses will run from commuter lots at Interstate 95 and Annapolis Way, the Old Hechinger’s Lot at the corner of Va. 123 and Old Bridge Road, at Tackett’s Mill. A shuttle bus will also run from the parking lot of Vulcan Quarry just across the Occoquan River in Lorton.
Occoquan’s Fall Craft Fair is held in September and features items for the December holiday season.
