Planning to use Metro to get from Springfield to Washington this weekend? Part of your commute will be by bus.

The transit agency will close Metro’s Blue and Yellow lines from 10 p.m. Friday to closing on Sunday for major work on the rail line, between the King Street and Pentagon City stations. Additionally, National Airport, Crystal City and Braddock Road stations will be closed during the work.

Shuttle buses will ferry passengers between the closed stations all weekend long.
