7 robbed in home invasion

Stafford County authorities are looking for who robbed seven people inside their home.

The victims told investigators that a man and woman broke into the their home in the 900 block of Anvil Road in south Stafford, near Interstate 95 and U.S. 17, at 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Once inside, the man pointed a handgun at the residents, ordered them from the middle floor of the home to the basement then to lie on the floor, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

The man spoke English and the woman fluent Spanish, which she used to relay the instructions to the victims.

After the man and woman took cash out of their victim’s pockets, the female learned that there were others inside the house on the top floor, and then ordered them downstairs where they too were robbed.

The invaders fled through the home’s front door. No one was injured.

The male is described as black, between 20 and 25-years-old, 5 feet six to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 140 to 180 pounds, wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans, black long-sleeved shirt and a black mask and was armed with a handgun.

The female is described as light-skinned Hispanic or black, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, black shoes, black shoes, black mask and had a small handbag with draw strings, investigators said.
