Woman, 67, jailed in Wegmans larcenies

FALMOUTH, Va. – The Wegmans bandit has been jailed, say police.
A woman from Spotsylvania County on July 9 told police that someone stole her purse, which was sitting in a cart while she was shopping Wegmans grocery store in Fredericksburg, about 7 p.m.

me woman suspected in another larceny form the store on June 28, said Fredericksburg police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe.
Police posted a lookout for their suspect with a description of the woman from the video, and with the help of Stafford County authorities, tracked the suspect to a home on Lyndale Court in Falmouth.
After obtaining search warrants, police went inside the home and found various stolen items taken from Wegmans in Central Park, said Bledsoe.
with grand larceny, identify theft, credit card theft and credit card forgery, said Bledsoe.
She was held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court July 27.
